Why Spend Weeks on a Single Tooth?
Traditional treatment requires separate appointments with an endodontist, your dentist, and a dental lab, often spanning two months or more. Our in-house 3D imaging and same-day crown milling let us complete your root canal and permanent crown in roughly two hours.

Do Any of These Sound Familiar?
If any of these feel familiar, you're not alone, and a solution may be closer than you think.
What Happens When You Wait?
Infection Spreads
Tooth infections can move quickly, reaching surrounding teeth and jaw tissue.
Treatment Gets More Complex
An abscess or deeper damage often requires more extensive care down the road.
Bone Loss Begins
Untreated infections can quietly affect the bone supporting your teeth.
Pain Compounds
What starts as sensitivity can become constant, severe discomfort.
Tooth Loss Becomes Likely
A tooth that could have been saved may no longer be salvageable.
Costs Rise Over Time
Delayed treatment typically means more involved procedures and greater expense later.
Getting treatment now is almost always the simpler, faster, and less costly path forward.
What Is Same-Day Root Canal and Crown Treatment?
Root canal treatment (saving a tooth by removing infected or damaged tissue from its inner chamber) has long had an undeserved reputation. In reality, it relieves pain rather than causing it. The procedure removes the source of infection, cleans and seals the inner canals, and protects the tooth so it can function normally for years to come. Combining that with a crown in a single appointment takes what used to require two or more visits and collapses it into one.
At College Hill Dental Group, same-day root canal and crown treatment in Easton uses CAD/CAM milling technology to design and produce your custom crown on-site while you’re here. Digital scans replace traditional impressions, our in-house mill produces the restoration in minutes, and Dr. Moghadam hand-finishes each crown for a precise, natural fit. No waiting weeks with a temporary. No second appointment to rearrange your schedule around.

Is Same-Day Root Canal and Crown Treatment Right for You?
Not Sure If You Qualify?
What to Expect During Same-Day Treatment
Exam and Digital Imaging
We start with a thorough evaluation using digital X-rays and, when needed, 3D CBCT imaging to get a precise picture of the tooth, surrounding bone, and root structure. You'll see exactly what we see on screen, and we'll walk you through what's happening and why. This step gives us everything needed to plan your treatment with accuracy.
Comfort and Anesthesia
Before any treatment begins, we make sure you're completely comfortable. Modern numbing techniques work quickly and effectively, and if you'd prefer additional relaxation, sedation options are available. Most patients are surprised by how little they feel once treatment begins.
Root Canal Treatment
We access the inner chamber of the tooth, carefully remove the infected or damaged tissue, and clean and shape the root canals. The canals are then disinfected and sealed with a biocompatible material to prevent reinfection. Throughout this step you'll feel pressure rather than pain, and we check in with you throughout to make sure you're comfortable.
Crown Design and Placement
While the tooth is prepared, we take a digital scan (no messy impression material) and use our CAD/CAM system to design and mill your custom porcelain crown on-site. Dr. Moghadam hand-finishes and custom-stains each crown to match your surrounding teeth. Once it's ready, we bond it firmly into place. You leave with a permanent, natural-looking restoration the same day.
Ready to Put That Tooth Pain Behind You?
What to Expect After Your Root Canal and Crown
First 24-48 Hours
Some tenderness around the treated tooth is common and typically resolves quickly with over-the-counter pain relief. Sticking to softer foods during this window is a good idea while the area settles. Most patients return to their normal routine the following day without issue.
First Week
Any residual sensitivity typically fades within a few days. Your permanent crown is bonded securely in place, so there are no activity restrictions or special precautions once the initial soreness passes. If anything feels off with your bite, a quick adjustment appointment takes care of it right away.
