What is the Smile Protection Plan?

Our Smile Protection Plan is an annual membership designed for patients without dental insurance. For one yearly fee, you receive routine preventive care like cleanings, exams, and X-rays, plus meaningful savings on additional treatment throughout the year at our Easton practice.

Who is eligible to join?

Anyone without traditional dental insurance can sign up. Many of our long-time patients use the plan as their primary way to budget for routine care. Whether you’re new to College Hill Dental Group or have been with us for years, you’re welcome to enroll.

How is the plan different from dental insurance?

Unlike insurance, there are no claim forms, no annual maximums, and no pre-authorizations. You won’t deal with denials or waiting periods either. The plan is straightforward: pay your annual fee, and your savings begin immediately on cleanings, exams, and other treatment.

When do my benefits start?

Your benefits begin the moment you enroll. Unlike many insurance plans that delay coverage for months, there are no waiting periods with our membership. You can schedule your first covered cleaning right away and start using your discount on any treatment that same day.

What's included with my membership?

Each plan includes routine cleanings, regular exams, oral cancer screenings, and a set of X-rays for the year. You also get an emergency exam if something unexpected comes up, plus up to 15% off any additional treatment you need beyond preventive care.

Do you offer family or household discounts?

Yes! When multiple members of the same household enroll on the same day, each person saves $25 on their plan. It’s a simple way for families to make preventive dental care more affordable while keeping everyone on a consistent schedule for cleanings and exams.

Does the plan apply to cosmetic treatments?

The plan absolutely covers cosmetic services. Your 15% savings extends to teeth whitening, veneers, and bonding, not just routine care. This makes the plan a great fit for patients thinking about a smile makeover or other aesthetic improvements alongside their preventive visits.

Which plan should I choose?

It depends on your specific dental needs. Adults with healthy gums typically choose the Adult Wellness Plan, while patients managing gum disease benefit from the Perio Maintenance Plan. Our team will help you pick the option that fits your situation during your visit.

How long does my membership last?

Membership runs for 12 months from the date you enroll. Toward the end of your year, we’ll reach out about renewal so there’s no gap in your coverage. You’re free to renew, change plans, or step away without any long-term commitment.

I was desperately looking for a local dentist to fix a chipped tooth but was astonished at the pricing at some places. (I am also a baby when it comes to dentists)…I was used to going to the dentist in NYC, and found that pricing was HIGHER than what I paid in NYC. Still, after a friend recommended this place, I went and got the special 2 cleanings and xrays that offered a discount on future work. I was ambivalent at first, but Heidi ( the Hygenist) was amazingly thorough and friendly. The x-rays and scans there are super detailed, yet done very quickly. I met with Dr. Dave, who was friendly and very knowlegeable. What I liked about him is that he explained the reasons my previous dentist didn’t want to do certain work…in a detailed and kind manner, basically not saying anything derogatory about previous care. The cleaning was amazing and I am going back to get a crown for that chipped tooth, which was completely in line with the pricing I have gotten elsewhere. I am happy to say I think I have found my local Dentist!
