Dr. David A. Moghadam

His favorite part of dentistry is straightforward: getting to know each patient, understanding what they actually need, and making sure they leave better than they came in. Behind that personal approach is one of the most advanced clinical skillsets you’ll find in any general dental practice in the region.

Dr. Moghadam has completed well over 1,000 hours of continuing education and is among the very few general dentists in the region personally performing IV sedation. To our knowledge, he’s the only one offering this full range of services under one roof. That means patients with complex needs, significant anxiety, or cases other offices refer out don’t have to go anywhere else. Other dental practices in the area regularly send their most challenging cases to us because they know the level of care those patients will receive.

His clinical range spans advanced restorative dentistry, smile makeovers, full-arch implants, bone grafting, sinus lifts, and surgical care. He completed his General Practice Residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, where he was recognized for clinical excellence and leadership, and later served as a clinical instructor at Lehigh Valley Health Network, earning Teacher of the Year. He is a Key Opinion Leader for Planmeca and leads a regional Spear Study Club alongside top specialists and clinicians in the area, keeping our entire team at the forefront of modern dentistry. Beyond the operatory, he lectures on digital dentistry, endodontics, dental surgery, personal development, and practice management, sharing what he’s learned with the broader profession.

Born and raised in Morris County, New Jersey, Dr. Moghadam earned his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University before completing his DMD at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where he received multiple awards for academic excellence, clinical skill, and leadership. Outside the practice, he has visited 28 of the U.S. National Parks (and counting), driven cross country several times, and will happily defend coffee as the only correct ice cream flavor.
