Dr. Phillip Dombrovskiy

Dentistry isn’t something Dr. Dombrovskiy fell into; it’s something he’s been building toward his entire life. He started working in a dental office at 16, and that early start gave him something most dentists don’t have: years of watching, learning, and refining what good patient care actually looks like before he ever picked up a handpiece himself.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, he attended Manhattan College before heading to Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He went on to complete his General Practice Residency at Mountainside Medical Center in Montclair, NJ, where he was named Resident of the Year for clinical skill, academic excellence, and professional integrity. Trained from the ground up on the latest techniques and materials, he brings comprehensive experience across restorative, surgical, and endodontic disciplines, the kind of well-rounded foundation that lets patients get more done in fewer visits.

He is CBCT trained with a particular focus on same-day crowns, and actively pursues continuing education across advanced restorative dentistry because growing his skillset is part of how he practices, not an afterthought. As an active member of the regional Spear Study Club led by Dr. Moghadam, he operates at a level well above his years in practice. Patients respond immediately to his calm, thorough chairside manner, and that dedication he’s been building since 16 shows up every single day in the chair.

Outside the office, Dr. Dombrovskiy is looking forward to marrying his fiancée next May and can usually be found spending time with family. When he wants to switch off, he turns to woodworking, a different kind of artistry than dentistry but one that scratches the same itch for precision and craft. If he could instantly master one new skill, he’d choose jazz piano, and his go-to comfort food is any sweet pastry he can get his hands on.
