He had lived through a cycle of dental emergencies and was deeply unhappy with his smile and how it affected his daily life. His teeth had multiple areas of breakdown and extensive wear, and his bite had collapsed over time, which was also affecting his posture. Before finding us, John had already visited at least three other dental offices to discuss full mouth implant replacement. He knew what he wanted, but he did not trust any of the plans he had been given elsewhere.

John first came to us as an emergency patient with a toothache, not for the full mouth conversation. Because John’s case involved bite collapse, the plan required extra precision. We worked backward from the desired outcome, mapping out what his smile should look like and the correct level for his teeth, then planned the surgical execution to hit that target. Once John decided to move forward, we took records, and his next visit was the treatment itself. This was full arch implant treatment on both the upper and lower arches. The planning was precise enough that his temporaries were delivered already at the correct level, so he was confident in his new smile right away.

Can I keep some of my natural teeth instead of replacing them all?
Absolutely. If your natural teeth can be successfully treated and maintained, preserving them may be the best option. Some of our patients receive dental implants on one arch while keeping their natural teeth on the other through treatments like crowns, fillings, and periodontal care.
Will my new teeth look natural?
Creating a natural-looking smile involves much more than choosing the right tooth color. We consider tooth shape, size, proportions, gum contours, and how your smile complements your facial features. When combining implants with natural teeth, the restorations can be carefully designed to blend with your existing smile.
Can dental treatment correct a collapsed or worn-down bite?
In some cases, yes. Years of tooth wear, missing teeth, or dental breakdown can change how your upper and lower teeth come together. Through careful planning and restorative treatment, we can work to reestablish a more functional bite while improving the appearance of your smile.
Am I too old to get dental implants or a full smile restoration?

Will I have temporary teeth while my final restorations are being made?
Depending on your treatment plan, temporary restorations may be provided while your mouth heals or your final teeth are being created. How long does a full mouth restoration take?
The timeline varies depending on the procedures involved and the condition of your teeth and gums. Some patients can receive temporary restorations quickly, while others may need periodontal treatment, extractions, healing time, or multiple restorative visits. Why do some patients need a combination of dental procedures?
